How to add integrations in Showit

Getting StartedUpdated 153 days ago

Quick answer

In Showit, open the left-hand sidebar, make sure Site is selected, click Site Settings, then scroll down to Integrations. Paste in your tracking ID for each tool and publish your site when done.

How to fix it in Showit

1. Open Showit

2. In the left-hand sidebar, make sure Site is selected

3. Click Site Settings

4. On the left-hand panel, scroll down to Integrations

5. To add Google Analytics: open the Google Analytics section, paste in your Measurement ID (starts with G-XXXXXXXXXX), and save

6. To add Google Tag Manager: open the Google Tag Manager section, paste in your Tag Manager ID (starts with GTM-XXXXXXX), and save

7. To add Meta Pixel: open the Meta Pixel section, paste in your Pixel ID, and save — this tracks ad performance and conversions from Facebook and Instagram

8. To add BDOW: open the BDOW section, paste in your Site ID, and save

9. Important: after adding any integration you must click Publish — if you do not publish, the integrations will not go live on your site

What's the issue

Showit has a dedicated Integrations section inside Site Settings where you connect your tracking and analytics tools. Each integration has its own field where you paste in your unique ID. After adding any integration you must publish your site — without publishing, the tracking codes will not go live.

Why it matters

  • Tracking and analytics tools help you understand where your visitors come from, what pages they visit, and how they interact with your site. Without them, you are launching blind. Connecting Google Analytics gives you traffic data. Google Tag Manager lets you manage tracking scripts in one place. Meta Pixel tracks conversions from your Facebook and Instagram ads. Getting these set up before launch means you start collecting data from day one.

What good looks like

All relevant integrations are connected and your site has been published. Google Analytics or Tag Manager is active so you can track traffic from launch. Meta Pixel is connected if you are running paid social ads.
