What is Showit?

Showit is a drag-and-drop website builder popular with photographers, designers, and creative entrepreneurs. Unlike WordPress or Squarespace, Showit gives you complete design freedom—you can position elements anywhere without being locked into templates. ## Why Showit users need specialized SEO help - Showit has no plugin ecosystem for the actual website (no Yoast, no Rank Math) - The platform prioritizes design flexibility over built-in SEO tools - It has unique technical quirks (like HTML generation based on layer order, not visual position) - Most Showit sites integrate WordPress for blogging, creating dual-sitemap complications Showit is amazing for beautiful, custom websites—but it requires a different approach to SEO than other platforms. That's exactly why we built this tool.
